On Wednesday morning, communication planet Mercury — which is still retrograde motion — leaves Pisces and slips back into Aquarius, and your original, nonconformist thinking might start to lose some of its bright clarity, might start tangling up inside your head. It can be easy to take a wrong turn this week, so try to slow down, to move with care. On Wednesday night, Venus enters one of its natural homes: earthy, sensual Taurus. This is a time for leaning into physical comforts, for coming back down to earth and trusting the pleasures that are real, solid, embodied.

Weekly Horoscope Aries

Aries Weekly Horoscope

It can be difficult not to judge yourself for making imperfect choices, or for failing to maintain full control over your life and surroundings. Try to remember that the options available to you haven’t always been ideal. Remind yourself of how hard you’ve always worked to do the best you could. It isn’t a mark against you that you haven’t to bend the whole vast world to your will. You can’t expect yourself to work miracles; it’s enough just to thrive, open-hearted and human, in this hard and messy world.

Weekly Horoscope Taurus

Taurus Weekly Horoscope

Sometimes it’s valuable to daydream. Sometimes, there’s more sweetness in abstraction and unreality than there is in the physical world. This week, though, it might be time to return to your body, with all its feelings and all its desires. Your physical self isn’t just a tool or a vehicle, but something that offers its own joys. Don’t turn away from these joys, or tell yourself they’re something extra, frivolous and expendable. Self-denial won’t teach you strength. This is a week for leaning into what pleasures there are around you, for treating your body like it matters.

Weekly Horoscope Gemini

Gemini Weekly Horoscope

This week, you might feel a little softer or more sensitive than usual. This may make it feel difficult to navigate the world. All your little, day-to-day interactions with other people may seem to take on more significance; every small choice you make may start to feel more weighty. You’re skilled at observing, solving puzzles, finding patterns, but sometimes no amount of thinking can help you figure out how to live. Sometimes, analysis is just the wrong tool for the job. It might not be comfortable to let your softness guide you, but this week, it’s important to try.

Weekly Horoscope Cancer

Cancer Weekly Horoscope

This week, you may find yourself feeling an unusually intense desire for closeness with other people. This is a valuable thing. It can lead to real intimacy, to connections that illuminate the whole world anew, to magic. In the wrong circumstances, though, this desire can also lead you into all kinds of wrong situations. It can make you willing to deny yourself, to forget your own needs, to compromise on things that truly matter. This desire isn’t a soft and negligible thing. It has its own unruly power, and this is a week to take that power seriously, to move with care, to protect your heart.

Weekly Horoscope Leo

Leo Weekly Horoscope

One of your great skills, your great gifts, is that you insist on wanting more than is strictly “reasonable” from the world. You want to live a life that’s not just adequate, not even just good, but wonderful. When you don’t let these desires move freely through you, or when you try to suppress them — or when you stew in inaction, resentful that things aren’t already better — it can drive you out of your mind. The answer, this week, is to act, to be bold, to live as though the wonderful things you want are all possible after all.

Weekly Horoscope Virgo

Virgo Weekly Horoscope

This week, remember that you’re allowed to ask for help. It is normal for human beings to depend on one another — to need assistance, to need care, to need favors, large and small. This is what the world is built on. It’s what keeps our social lives moving; it’s what builds and deepens connections. It’s unreasonable to think that you might somehow be exempt from all this. Holding yourself to a standard no human could possibly meet doesn’t help you, nor does it help the people you love. Your independence is powerful, but you deserve connection, too.

Weekly Horoscope Libra

Libra Weekly Horoscope

This week, you might find yourself feeling that change might really be possible: that you aren’t stuck in place, that you’re still growing, that the world hasn’t run out of magic. This doesn’t mean you need to twist your life into drastically different shapes, only that you should keep in mind, as you move through your days, that you haven’t reached your final form. Whatever you’ve been told about yourself — whatever you’ve been made to believe — isn’t the totality of your soul. People underestimate you, and this is a week for considering the possibility that they’ve been wrong this whole time.

Weekly Horoscope Scorpio

Scorpio Weekly Horoscope

Compassion can sometimes seem so bland, so mild, as to be wholly useless. It gets invoked as an important value all the time, but what does it really mean? This week, don’t let other people’s insipid invocations of compassion keep you from seeing its true power. This week, think about where the compassion is — and where it’s missing — in your life. Think about what love for other people could allow you to do. Think about what you’d become capable of if the people in your life showed you the compassion you really need. Love isn’t necessarily weakness. It can be as strange and as powerful as you need it to be.

Weekly Horoscope Sagittarius

Sagittarius Weekly Horoscope

This week, you won’t be forging ahead on your own — your way forward won’t be as a brave individual, striking out alone. Rather, you’ll need to rely on other people. This can be maddening — working in conjunction with others slows you down. Other people demand care and attention that might otherwise be put toward ideas, toward projects, toward your quest. But what you’re really doing when you connect with others is creating the conditions for magic, and this week, nothing else will work quite as well.

Weekly Horoscope Capricorn

Capricorn Weekly Horoscope

It can be so frustrating to see the ways that people — rational people, brilliant people, people just like you in many ways — insist on doing things differently than you’d like. It can be hard to witness them making other choices than the ones you would, traveling through the world as though powered by some entirely different force than the one that powers you. It’ll be useful, this week, to remember that it’s okay for other people to remain mysterious to you. You can love them anyway, in spite of your differences.

Weekly Horoscope Aquarius

Aquarius Weekly Horoscope

This week, you might find yourself faced with a sense of anxiety that things aren’t moving fast enough, that you’re running out of time, that you must do everything faster and faster to maximize what’s left of your life. When you’re feeling this way, slowing down can seem unimaginably foolish, but that’s the best way to handle this week. It’s possible to live well without doing everything, possible to enjoy yourself exactly where you are. Time isn’t unlimited, but it’s stranger and stretchier than you may think. There’s magic in refusing to be rushed.

Weekly Horoscope Pisces

Pisces Weekly Horoscope

You might be feeling some anxiety this week over whether you’re doing things “right,” whether you’re checking the boxes you’re supposed to, following the prescribed path. Try not to worry too much about following anyone else’s orders. You can let your own intuition be your guide. Other people may be experts in other things, but they’re not the experts of your life. They don’t live in your body, in your day-to-day world, the way you do. Pay attention to your instincts. They aren’t a lesser form of knowledge. They’re valuable, if you’re willing to listen.
