Hey, Do You Hear the Perfume Truck?

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream. Dreams. Things that gleam. Good streams. Light moisturizing creams. And also, now, ice-cold perfumes.

Indie perfumer D.S. & Durga, known for creating fragrances for interesting people, will be driving its Fume Truck, which runs on (per)fume, around the city, selling great scents from an appropriate social distance. The truck will offer exclusive drops, fragrances, candles, and auto scents (yes, the best car air fresheners you’ve ever smelled) alongside hand and body care. Drops of exclusive products include the Greatest Hits Vol. 1 Discovery Set, containing deluxe vials of D.S. & Durga’s top-six best sellers over the year. Big Sur After the Rain hand sanitizer will also be available for use.

The D.S. & Durga Fume Truck will be parked daily at locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, starting July 9 and running through September. You can follow the company on Twitter or text FUMETRUCK to 24321 to track it. Or you can just listen for the jingle to hear if it’s in your neighborhood. Knowing D.S. & Durga’s musician turned perfumer David Moltz, it will probably sound more like Joy Division than “Pop Goes the Weasel.”
