Last week was a big week for coats. So many coats. Coats, coats, coats. Coats by Miuccia Prada, specifically. But were they like this coat? No. This coat is unlike the others. This coat, from the fall 2020 collection, is the combination of a blazer and a puffer. It’s fluffy and oversized, and made of a soft camel-colored leather that, if you think about it, actually makes it a hybrid of three classic coat types, not two. An outerwear turducken! It was worn on the runway with a belt at the waist, a yellow leather skirt, pink boots, and a red tie. The model looked cozy but sharp, like she was going to a business lunch outside. Or maybe an inauguration ceremony, who knows?
