Wait, Which Selling Sunset Stars Are Dating?!

A new celebrity couple has come out of the woodwork! (Gorgeous woodwork, 20-foot ceilings, open floor plan, infinity pool, breathtaking views. I’ve got a pamphlet if you’re interested.) Selling Sunset co-stars Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim — one of the twin brothers who own the luxury real-estate firm featured on the Netflix series — have confirmed they are dating. A property brother for everyone!

Stause broke the news in an Instagram post, attributing her decision to share their relationship as “the JLo effect.” (I’m not sure exactly what this means. Maybe the fact that she’s revealing her boyfriend on Instagram? Maybe because J.Lo is also vacationing in Capri??) Based on her relationship announcement/little vacation photo dump, Stause and Jason went on a triple date to Capri, Italy, with a couple of fellow Selling Sunset co-stars and their respective significant others: real-estate agent Mary Fitzgerald and her husband Romain Bonnet as well as Jason’s twin brother Brett Oppenheim and his girlfriend, model Tina Louise. “Nothing makes me more excited than to see two of my closest friends together and making each other so happy!” commented Fitzgerald, who previously dated Jason, as the show will not let us forget. (The two still co-parent a couple of dogs.) Also so happy is Bonnet, who commented, “Finally people will stop with Jason and Mary hopefully.” Hopefully, Romain!

“Chrishell and I became close friends and it has developed into an amazing relationship,” Jason told People. “I care about her deeply and we are very happy together.” Hmm, something of a change from what he previously told “Page Six” about dating his co-stars. In May, he said getting involved with one of his Selling Sunset castmates “wouldn’t be a priority for [him],” adding, “I think that would be complicated.” Well, it doesn’t seem so complicated anymore, seeing as Jason gave Stause a shitload of roses for her birthday last week.

Season three of Selling Sunset focused heavily on Stause’s divorce from actor Justin Hartley. If you’ll recall, Stause allegedly found out about the divorce via text message. Netflix has confirmed the next season will debut later this year but hasn’t announced the specific premiere date. Perhaps it will follow this new couple finding love amid million-dollar properties.

But how does la famiglia feel about the new couple? It seems Brett is a fan. “Love you Chrishell,” he commented on her post. “Thank you for making my brother happy.” My regards as well, as this news will tide me over until season four.
