This is the first full week of Scorpio season, and on Saturday morning, Mars, planet of action and drive, joins the sun in Scorpio. When Mars is in Scorpio, there’s no need for passive-aggressiveness, no call to second guess your own desires. The moment for hedging is over now; it’s not worth it to remain safe on the surface, uncommitted. If there’s a part of you that wants to go all-in — on love, work, changing the world — then this is the time to do it.

Weekly Horoscope Aries

Aries Weekly Horoscope

Not everyone appreciates the value of provocation, but you do. You know that all interactions don’t need to be smooth and agreeable to be worthwhile, and that there are times when a little bit of combativeness is the only way to breathe fresh air into a situation that’s become boring. Recently, it’s felt like your wild side has gone unappreciated or misunderstood by others — like the people around you only have time for the parts of you that are mild, and never the ones that are bright, interesting, challenging. But this week, that’s all going to change.

Weekly Horoscope Taurus

Taurus Weekly Horoscope

It can be a comfort to believe in a final, cosmic justice: to have faith that everything happens for a reason, that hardships may be fair, even good, when you look at them from the right perspective. Other times, though, that comfort fades, and there’s a strange relief in moving through the world with the understanding that some things simply aren’t just, no matter how you try to spin them. This week, it’s not your job to convince yourself that you’re satisfied, if you aren’t. If, deep down in your soul, the status quo feels wrong, then it probably is. You can demand better.

Weekly Horoscope Gemini

Gemini Weekly Horoscope

Certain people are scared of risk, tiptoeing through their lives like they’re afraid to attract the universe’s attention. But not you. You’re willing to experiment, to change directions when the path you’re on no longer suits you, to accept the litany of small risks that come with any interesting life. What’s more difficult is to make the really consequential choices — the ones that could transform everything, the ones you might not be able to turn back from. Maybe you wish you could go on forever without choosing. But if you do have a big decision to make, there are worse times to resolve it than right now.

Weekly Horoscope Cancer

Cancer Weekly Horoscope

Lately, you’ve gotten the sense that others are only willing to engage with what is right on the surface, plainly stated. It’s hard to find someone who is interested in looking beyond the obvious, and listening to what goes unsaid, and seeing that there’s more to you than your shiny public persona. But this week, you might notice the people around you catching up. They’re willing, at last, to really look at you — not just the mask you wear, but you. You aren’t alone anymore, and this is enough to change your life.

Weekly Horoscope Leo

Leo Weekly Horoscope

You feel pressure to be in a state of constant growth — perpetually advancing your ambitions, or expanding your influence, or becoming a “better” person. Sometimes this is a demand from someone else, and other times it’s one you make of yourself; either way, the result is that it’s easier to lose your emotional balance, to lose sight of what you really want, of what would be enough. This week, remember that you don’t actually have to keep striving just because you can. Remind yourself that you’re allowed to rest, even stop completely, if you want to.

Weekly Horoscope Virgo

Virgo Weekly Horoscope

They might not even mean to do it, but occasionally other people use your own kindness against you. They count on the fact that you’d rather swallow your own pain than force anyone else to deal with it; you prefer acting like everything is fine to making anyone else feel bad. But right now, you can retake your power by recognizing your emotions, by pointing out the ways you’ve been treated wrong, but refusing to let anyone else off the hook, not even out of kindness. This week, you can honor yourself best by refusing to pretend.

Weekly Horoscope Libra

Libra Weekly Horoscope

Sometimes, blame is toxic, corroding your ability to think straight, to move forward, to enjoy your precious time on Earth. But accountability never is, and there are times when the only reasonable course of action is to cast the blame where it belongs. There are people who have hurt you badly, or harmed those you love, or done unimaginable damage to the planet we all share. There’s power in naming the truth, in refusing to keep up the fiction that no one has ever done wrong. Rage eats away at you when ignored, but it can also pave the way for repair.

Weekly Horoscope Scorpio

Scorpio Weekly Horoscope

No matter how much you believe in yourself, a long enough string of bad days or bad luck can leave you doubting that things will ever go your way. This week, though, your despair might start to wane. Something better is coming, and you can feel it. While pessimism has a protective function, right now, you’ll be better served by allowing yourself to believe that it’s possible to get what you want. It’s possible for life to feel wonderful again. Now and then, you actually do get what you need, and that makes it worth it to keep trying.

Weekly Horoscope Sagittarius

Sagittarius Weekly Horoscope

It’s important to give people the benefit of the doubt. But at a point, it becomes important to stop placing your faith in the people or institutions who have again and again proven unworthy of it. Withdrawing your generosity from those who have repeatedly taken it for granted isn’t cruel or spiteful or pointlessly stubborn. It’s just about understanding that your energy is finite, that your gifts deserve to be appreciated. It means making sure your kindness doesn’t go to waste.

Weekly Horoscope Capricorn

Capricorn Weekly Horoscope

Every once in a while, even you lose your nerve. Other people may not recognize it — they see only your capable exterior, your brave public face — but the truth is that, sometimes, everyone doubts their own ability to keep going in a world as grindingly unfair as this one. But even if, in your secret heart, you’re intimidated and afraid, you can act as though you aren’t. You can refuse to hide from the world, and can make all the same choices that your bravest self would make, and eventually, the accumulated power of these choices will make you feel brave once more.

Weekly Horoscope Aquarius

Aquarius Weekly Horoscope

There are times for asking all the new questions you can think of, and times for following through on the search for answers you’ve already begun. This week, try not to begin new projects just for the thrill of it. As much as you love exploring, letting your enthusiasm expand in every direction at once, it can result in your intellectual reserves being spread too thin. Right now, it’s time to go deep on what you know you care about, and to let everything else, all that’s small and distracting and unimportant, fall away.

Weekly Horoscope Pisces

Pisces Weekly Horoscope

Other people love to project their ideas and expectations onto you: They cast you in their own private dramas, or they place you on pedestals you never asked to be atop, or they take it for granted that your ambitions must be a perfect match for their own. This week, it’s important to resist being typecast into roles you don’t want. Accepting others’ assumptions without complaint will only make you miserable. When you become less agreeable — when you quietly frustrate other people’s unfair expectations of you — you’ll be amazed by how sweet your life becomes, and how quickly.
