On Sunday, November 28, Lohan announced her engagement to Bader Shammas, an assistant vice president at Credit Suisse. The actor shared the happy news with fans on Instagram and Twitter, posting a handful of sweet photos of the couple showing off her engagement ring. “My love. My life. My family. My future,” she wrote in the caption, tagging her fiancé and adding the hashtag “#love” followed by a ring emoji.
Lohan also tagged her siblings, Dakota Lohan and Aliana Lohan, in the post, as well as Harry Winston. And both Aliana and their mother, Dina Lohan, re-shared the post on their Instgram stories to celebrate the couple.
This might be one of the first times we’re hearing about the couple, but Lindsay and Bader have actually been dating for three years, her rep reportedly told E! News. Not much is known about Lindsay’s future husband, but based on his LinkedIn, Bader has been based in Dubai for around four years. Before that, he attended the University of South Florida from 2007-2010 and the University of Tampa from 2010-2012. Unfortunately, Bader’s Instagram appears to be private, but an unverified account under his name did retweet Lohan’s announcement.
