Good news for anyone who wants to keep reliving high school: Olivia Rodrigo is going on tour. On the heels of her seven Grammy nominations — including Best New Artist, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year — Rodrigo announced the 2022 concert dates for her debut album, Sour. Starting in San Francisco in April, she will be touring across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, finishing her tour in London in July. Openers include Gracie Abrams, Holly Humberstone, and Baby Queen.
We have so many questions. Will these concerts be prom-themed? Will she have any special guests? (None of her songs feature anyone, but Rodrigo has had a busy year in the spotlight and made friends with just about everyone.) How many actual teenagers will be there?
Rodrigo was most recently honored at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch with the Songwriter of the Year award presented to her by Avril Lavigne. Since releasing Sour in May, she has performed on SNL, the AMA’s, and the VMA’s, and on Sunday, PBS released her Austin City Limits performance alongside Phoebe Bridgers.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, so get ready to battle it out with 13-year-olds.
