In the six months that they’ve been dating, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have thrown us plenty of curveballs, including dining with Jeff Bezos and searing Kim’s name onto Pete’s skin. But now it seems they’ve reached a much more conventional relationship milestone: meeting the kids.
A few weeks after Kim reportedly met his grandparents in Staten Island, Pete was spotted on Sunday driving around with North West, the 8-year-old daughter of Kim and her ex-husband Ye, in Kim’s pink electric golf cart. TMZ claims they were wheeling around Scott Disick’s gated community in L.A., and Kourtney Kardashian and Scott’s daughter Penelope was reportedly also in the car. While this particular shade of pink doesn’t really seem like North’s style, she does seem to be having fun. Still, I can’t help but worry they’re on their way to get face tattoos.
Davidson’s relationship with the Kardashian-West kids has been a source of tension in Kim and Ye’s very public divorce, with things getting particularly heated in recent months. Kim has previously said that she wants “a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship,” and she and Kanye were recently seen together on the sidelines of their son Saint’s soccer game. This week, she told Good Morning America that she’s “very happy” in her relationship with Davidson, saying, “It’s such a good feeling just to be at peace.” Hopefully North and Pete joyriding around the neighborhood is another sign that we’re entering a more peaceful era.
Either way, I’m jealous that Davidson gets to experience the depths of North’s beautiful, goth mind. Maybe next, she’ll show him her art.
