Ulta Beauty’s first ever Summer of Hair Love event is here and offering steals on hair care for the entirety of the sale, which started Sunday, June 26, and lasts until July 16.

A handful of products like Pureology and Biolage are on sale with mega price drops to stock you up for the summer. Another major part of the Ulta Beauty Summer Hair Event is its “buy one get one at 50 percent off” deal on all curly-girl-approved hair products from Tracee Ellis Ross’s Pattern to Julissa Prados’s Rizos Curl.

We’ve rounded up some products (most are curly-women approved!) we believe are worth buying from the Ulta Beauty Summer of Hair Love Event.

If you prefer a leave-in mask, try Briogeo’s strength and moisture mask. It’s a quick and easy solution to strengthen and protect your tresses. Created with argan oil and algae extract, it gives the ultimate hydration to damaged hair. All it takes is a few spritz.

Black castor oil is said to be a holy-grail ingredient for growth and strengthening hair. This shampoo cleanses and restores hair while giving it the ultimate strength. Its peppermint and apple-cider-vinegar formulation instantly makes the scalp feel cleansed and breathable.

Locking in moisture starts at the scalp. Mielle Organics’s Mint Almond Oil not only secures that moisture but also relieves the scalp of any irritation. The mint also leaves an instant cooling effect.

We’ve all been on vacation with a head full of chlorine and only hotel conditioner to turn to. Stock your summer suitcase with a travel-size conditioner this year. This one from Pattern quickly detangles your hair while leaving curls hydrated and defined.

This coconut-oil-and-keratin-infused shampoo keeps colored hair healthy and silky while smelling amazing.

Even if you don’t have colored hair, it’s natural for hair to become dry, brittle, and unhealthy, especially during hot summer months. This mask works to bring the hair back to life by softening it and promoting hair growth. It is my go-to hair mask for post-protective styling.

Detangling your hair after the beach can be aggravating. However, it doesn’t take much of Rizos Curls’ Detangling Spray to smooth your curls while refreshing them as well.

If you like its oil, you’ll love its deep conditioner. Formulated with natural oils, this conditioner infuses hair with protein to improve it. Combined with the oil, your hair will be silky smooth.

Eco Style’s gel is an OG, especially for curly girls. It gets the job done — lays the edges, slicks down the curls, and holds hair in place for hours. It’s one of those things that you can never have too much of in your product stash.

Speaking of scalp, a daily serum keeps it relieved. If you’re like me and work out daily, it especially helps to give your scalp some extra love in between sweat sessions. Sunday II Sunday is blended just for active women and this scalp serum soothes and relieves irritation. Applying this after the gym to my scalp is just as important as cleansing my face.

If you’re looking for a hairspray that’ll have your hair controlled and silky for your hot-girl-summer plans, this lightweight spray from Chi is fast drying and gives your tresses a luminous sheen.

Summer is a perfect time to focus on the growth of your hair, whether you’re just letting it do its thing or putting it into a protective style. This duo works quickly to bring new hair growth to the surface. When dealing with breakage on my edges, it’s a great combo to turn to. Blended with saw palmetto, castor beans, and peppermint, these drops are said to stimulate the scalp for growth. Plus, when combined with the gro grease, it’s a match made in hair heaven.
