While many of us Stateside celebrated Fourth of July with barbecues, much more high-end parties were happening abroad. The fall-winter 2022–2023 couture shows kicked off in Paris, and celebrities, designers, and influencers turned out. To see what everyone wore, here are our favorite party looks from the week, Paris edition.
Best Jacket: Naomi Campbell
Naomi Campbell looks stunning on her way into the Balenciaga dinner at Hôtel de la Marine. There is so much jacket happening here, but it’s not overpowering her (as if any clothing could.)
Best Optical Illusion: Julia Fox
Julia Fox wore this sheer dress to the Iris van Herpen show, and I’m obsessed, but I also have a lot of questions about how it works.
Prettiest in Pink: Cindy Bruna
Cindy Bruna looks beautiful outside the Giambattista Valli runway show. The rows of ruffles make it a showstopper.
Best Texture: Tracee Ellis Ross
Tracee Ellis Ross stole the show in this textured gown at Balenciaga.
Best Coordination: Maluma
I love everything about this look, from the poncho to the jeans to the pattern that he carried throughout the entire outfit.
Best Cutout: Raya Martigny
Model Raya Martigny looked glamorous in her baby-blue cutout dress at Jean Paul Gaultier.
Best Matching Set: Bella Hadid
On her way into the Balenciaga dinner, Bella Hadid wore a chic matching set.
Best Feathers: Law Roach
Law Roach is attention-grabbing in this jacket that’s feathered on the bottom and embellished on the top.
Best Pop of Color: Yara Alnamlah
Influencer Yara Alnamlah is eye-catching outside of Fendi. Her polished look is elevated by her blue additions.
Best Structure: Jourdan Dunn
Jourdan Dunn’s structured dress is unique outside the Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture fall-winter 2022–2023 show.
Best Accessories: Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya
Princess of Thailand Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya accessorized perfectly when she attended the Chanel show with a bag and oversize bow from the brand.
Best Fit: Rita Ora
This dress accentuates Rita Ora’s curves perfectly as she attends the “Shocking! Les mondes surréalistes d’Elsa Schiaparelli” exhibition during Paris Fashion Week.
