The U.S. Open is back in New York, and this time it’s bittersweet. Earlier this month, Serena Williams announced that she would be retiring from tennis after the tournament. She defeated her first-round opponent, Danka Kovinić, in front of a record-breaking crowd on Monday and then her second-round opponent, the number-two seeded Anett Kontaveit, on Wednesday.

Williams is turning out a star-studded crowd, including the likes of Anna Wintour, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Zendaya. Since everyone knows that tennis is the most fashionable sport — just ask Miu Miu or Rothy’s — here’s what the celebs wore to cheer on Williams.

The real star of any Williams crowd is her daughter, Olympia. The 4-year-old’s sparkly outfit matched her mom’s, and her white beads were reminiscent of her mother’s early-career hairstyle. Williams’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, wore an all-black look including a sweatshirt from S by Serena.

At Williams’s first game of the tournament, Billie Jean King wore a bright-pink jacket, matching pink glasses, and pearls. During a ceremony following the game, the fellow tennis trailblazer told the story of meeting Williams for the first time when she was just 6 years old.
