Summer is ending in New York, but that doesn’t mean the parties have to. This week: two glamorous events hosted by Saks, celebrations ahead of the U.S. Open, and the community benefit and runway show Fashion of the Pines returns after 29 years. For all that and more, keep reading to see some of our favorite looks from the week.
Best Pattern: Leyna Bloom
At an event Saks held in the Hamptons to celebrate summer, Leyna Bloom stunned in this long dress. The longer you look at the outfit, the more things you find to appreciate.
Hostess With the Mostess: Toby Milstein Schulman
At the same event, social entrepreneur Toby Milstein Schulman is ready to host in her sequin, one-shoulder dress with fringe at the bottom. Chic.
Best Duo: Dr. Barbara Sturm and Charlotte Sturm
Celeb-favorite skin-care expert Dr. Barbara Sturm and her daughter Charlotte Sturm were coordinated at Altuzarra & Saks’s celebration of a summer 2022 capsule collection at Joseph Altuzarra’s Hamptons home.
Prettiest in Pink: Rachel Zoe
Rachel Zoe went with this tiered pink dress at LoveShackFancy’s dinner with Whispering Angel Rosé in celebration of its latest collection at Le Bilboquet.
Best Accessories: DJ Fannie Mae
DJ Fannie Mae knew how to accessorize for her set at the Ray-Ban x Elsewhere concert series in celebration of its new Wayfarer Colorblock collection at Everyday People. The musician stacked pearl necklaces with silver chains and wore chunky rings, a buck hat, and, of course, sunglasses from the collection.
Pharrell: Ready to Play
Pharrell Williams threw the first pitch in style at the Yankees game in celebration of the launch of the Billionaire Boys Club x Yankees collection.
Angelica Ross: Best LBD
Ahead of her Broadway debut in Chicago, Angelica Ross wore this little black dress with cutouts. She’s ready to take the stage.
That’s Your Color: Gigi Robinson
We love the colors Gigi Robinson wore for the IHG Hotels & Resorts Legends Unmatched Party at Kimpton Hotel Eventi — a kickoff event for the U.S. Open.
Best Coordination: Natalie Lim Suarez
At the same event, Natalie Lim Suarez wore this dress from Rayane Bacha’s newest collection. She completed the look with a blazer and puffy brown bag.
Best Statement: Eric Sawyer
Fashion of the Pines, a community benefit and runway show on Fire Island, returned after nearly 30 years, and it was packed with looks. Walking alongside ACT UP’s Jason Rosenberg and BaBEC (Black & Brown Equity Coalition)’s Tomik Dash, Eric Sawyer (a founding member of the AIDS advocacy group) wore a top that says, “Fuck Stigma Stigma Kills.” We agree.
