You may have noticed some posts from our friends at The Strategist on the Cut. They’ll be dropping in every now and again, sharing their expertise on the basics you don’t have time to research and the weird and wonderful things you don’t yet know you need.

Last weekend saw a flurry of sales that delighted our bargain-loving hearts, but even though Labor Day is over, there are still more deals to be had. We did some hunting and found lots of incredible bargains including an ultraslim portable charger, a cheeky patterned sleep mask, and several statusy sneakers. (And we’d be remiss not to mention Nordstrom’s say-goodbye-to-summer sale, which ends Monday.) Shop all the best deals here, and sign up for our email newsletter for even more picks.

Strategist senior editor Simone Kitchens’s now-$29 cowboy-cut Wranglers were named our best slim-leg jean for women. She says they’re reminiscent of ’70s deadstock and “look like something straight out of A.P.C.

It’s a perfectly acceptable time to get in the Halloween spirit, and these themed PJs from one of our favorite kids’ brands are on sale from $29. They’re also available in infant sizing.

Select patterns of Strategist senior writer Liza Corsillo’s favorite puffy laptop sleeve from Baggu are now only $20. “They’re ultrapadded, so they protect my computer no matter what bag I throw it in,” Corsillo says. The “nylon material is a little slippery, so they slide into a backpack or purse quickly and easily.”

Anker is a go-to charger brand for Strategist staffers and several cool people alike for its reliability. Megababe founder Katie Sturino recommends this one as it “gives more than two times the amount of charge your phone needs, so you don’t have to be constantly scoping for your next outlet.” It’s now only $16 with the on-page coupon.

This wooden open-shelf bookcase is on sale for $150 and is a great place to display your coffee-table books, candles, and other tchotchkes.

Hay is our go-to source for colorful, hygge-y home décor. These slim storage boxes are so pretty you’ll want to display them — and they’re on sale for just $7.

This hydrating serum from celeb-approved brand Josie Maran is vegan, cruelty free, and now half-off. It contains glycerin and argan oil, which are especially good for sensitive skin and calming redness.

Our favorite less expensive blow-dryer brush is now almost 50 percent off. Jessica Lee, a stylist at Hawthorne Studio, says this tool is a “great two-in-one” as it dries and smooths in one go, which cuts down on heat damage caused by excessive styling.

J.Crew is offering an extra 50 percent off sale styles with code SHOPSALE, bringing some items down to 70 percent off. If you’re ready to pack up your summer wardrobe, this lightweight pointelle sweater is great for transitional weather.

For folks who like undies with lots of personality, this cotton option (a patterned version of our best less expensive boxers) are only $7 with the code.

It’s the final weekend of Nordstrom’s summer sale, and there are still lots of good deals to take advantage of. This cheery sleep mask from one of our favorite PJ brands is now 40 percent off.

Our choice for best overall rain boots for women are now 40 percent off in both olive green and classic black. “No worries if they get muddy or dirty,” says Southern California organic gardener and YouTuber CaliKim. “A quick spray with a hose cleans them up in a snap.”

Casper knows comfort (it makes our favorite mattress for stomach sleepers), and this cotton throw looks just as plush. Right now, it’s reduced to just $50 from $100.

French brand Emile Henry’s pie pans come recommended by pie-baking experts, and you can expect the same heat retention from its Dutch oven for all your seasonal baking and soup-making needs.

Patagonia is an overwhelming Strategist favorite for fleeces. Ideal for morning hikes or an overly AC’d office, this recycled-polyester pullover is now half-off.

These colorful and statusy Hokas are now 20 percent off. The brand was named a favorite by chef Molly Baz, and in our recent survey with 1,000 seniors, triathlon runner Judy said, “Hokas keep me healthy.”

Men’s sizes are also available.

Available in a variety of sizes in teal and pink, the FreeForm leggings are a stretchier version of OV’s Core Leggings, which we named an essential in our guide to shopping the brand. The seven-inch biker shorts — which I own and can attest are great for bouldering — are also on sale.

There’s a huge discount to be had on these Veja-esque velcro-closure men’s sneakers from Everlane.
