Congratulations to Rebel Wilson on the birth of her first child. The actor announced on Monday that she had welcomed a daughter, Royce Lillian, via surrogate last week. “I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle,” she wrote next to a photo of her baby girl wearing a dusty-pink onesie and the cutest unicorn socks known to man.

“I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved,” she continued. “This has been years in the making … but particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care. Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!!” The new mom added that she was “ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable” and that she was “proud” to join the “Mums” club.

Wilson’s girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, commented with three heart emojis. She also sent her partner well-wishes in her Instagram Stories, sharing what appears to be a photo from Wilson’s baby shower with the text, “Love you to the moon and back.” (And, no, despite what you may have heard, the two are not engaged. After “Page Six” reported that the two were getting ready to tie the knot, Wilson took to her Instagram Story to set the record straight, telling fans, “Thanks for the well wishes but we are NOT engaged!”)

It’s been a long road to motherhood for Wilson, who called her daughter “a little miracle” on Twitter. Wilson has been open about her fertility struggle in the past, telling People in May that she got serious about her health after a 2019 visit to a fertility doctor. “He looked me up and down and said, ‘You’d do much better if you were healthier,’” she said. Though the actor said she was taken aback at first, she later decided to follow his advice in the hopes that it would help her successfully freeze her eggs. “I didn’t think of my own needs. I thought of a future child’s needs that really inspired me to get healthier.”
