It’s been a rainy few days here in NYC, so here’s something that will cheer you up: parties! The holiday festivities continue with VIP guests in their most festive cold-weather attire. This week: Pucci goes to St. Moritz, Laura Dern and Kristen Wiig party with Roger Vivier, and Kelela dines with Lanvin Group. Here are some of our favorite looks.
Dream Dinner Guests: Kristen Wiig & Laura Dern
It’s dinner party season and a few of our dream dinner guests strike a pose at the Holloway House in L.A. Roger Vivier and Gherardo Felloni teamed up with Dern and Laura Brown to host an intimate dinner, guests enjoyed a three-course meal and Parisian theme, ooh la la.
Prettiest Patterns: Precious Lee
Model Precious Lee demonstrates our ideal après-ski look at a party co-hosted by Mytheresa in Pucci’s chalet. To fête the launch of Pucci artistic director Camille Miceli’s La Famiglia collection and the upcoming Pucci x Fusalp, the brand invited guests to hit the slopes in St. Moritz.
Runner-up: Ikram Abdi
At the same event model Ikram Abdi wears another daring print from Pucci.
Best Blazer: Kelela
Dinner-party season continues with Kelela at Altro Paradiso on Thursday helping Lanvin Group celebrate its public listing on the New York Stock Exchange. The singer pairs bleached brows and hair with an all-black look.
Most Festive: Christina Hendricks
One way to make a suit seasonally appropriate? Velvet. Christina Hendricks and her festive attire joined Brooks Brothers host its annual holiday party at the Maybourne Beverly Hills. At the event to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, guests were treated to hot chocolate, balloon animals, ornament-decorating, and of course Santa Claus made an appearance.
Best Red Lip: Helena Christensen
Model Helena Christensen snaps a photo at Batsheva’s screening party for the short film Unhinged starring Chloe Fineman and written by Maya Singer. Guests at Ms. Kim’s enjoyed Yola mezcal cocktails and karaoke. We wonder what everyone’s go-to karaoke song is.
Coziest Knit: Kelly Rowland
Kelly Rowland joined Nordstrom and Frame at Dodger Stadium in some very cozy knitwear to gift essential items and holiday gifts to those in need for Baby2Baby.
Best Color Coordination: Charlie Jarvis & Hannah Traore
We love a matching moment, this time from WORTHLESSSTUDIOS board member Charlie Jarvis and gallerist Hannah Traore who gathered at Public Records for a holiday party in celebration of the arts organization’s past year.
Runner-up: Clara Perlmutter
If there were ever an argument for matching your lipstick to your look, let this be it. Perlmutter joined Saint Sintra in the Seville for the brand’s first-ever holiday party. Guests enjoyed a charcuterie station and T-shirts from the brand.
Best Accessories: Sophia Roe
What better way to celebrate the Sophia Roe and Pamela Love collaboration than party with treats and bites curated by the chef herself. The sterling silver collection was displayed alongside the spread with mushrooms that inspired the pieces.
Contrasting Colors: Jessica Williams
Jessica Williams pairs a black-and-white dress with a contrasting jacket, a color combo we’re going to try, at Patou’s dinner party hosted by creative director Guillaume Henry and filmmaker Janicza Bravo.
At the same event, the lady of the hour does black-and-white with an oversize collar and bow — file this under looks to try.
Most Stylish Crew: Ella Emhoff, Kiki Ransom, Tyra Booker, Clara Perlmutter
There’s no better way to fete Dame Pat McGrath than your best outfit and best makeup. To celebrate the Star Wars x Pat McGrath Labs collection guests gather to enjoy cosmic-themed cocktails from Veuve Clicquot and Belvedere. Guests also got to try out the collection for themselves.
