In 2022, Susan Korn opened her very first Susan Alexandra storefront in Manhattan — a feat for any designer. But she’s not satisfied. In fact, the woman behind the whimsical Susan Alexandra accessories line, known for its colorful beaded bags and jewelry, is hoping to open another store in 2023, this time in California, and maybe even expand her line. “Part of wanting a big life is being unsatisfied,” she says. “You have to be fierce in your approach to being successful.”

This week on the In Her Shoes podcast, Susan Korn spoke with Cut editor-in-chief Lindsay Peoples about opening her New York City storefront during the pandemic, her addiction to the RealReal, and what’s next for Susan Alexandra.
