20 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From The North Face to Smeg

You may have noticed some posts from our friends at the Strategist on the Cut. They’ll be dropping in every now and again, sharing their expertise on the basics you don’t have time to research and the weird and wonderful things you don’t yet know you need.

To end your week on a high, self-rewarding note, I’ve unearthed some truly excellent finds from the internet’s clearance bins. Below, you’ll find all of the best things to buy at Baggu’s warehouse sale, vetted by a certified Baggu girlie (me). There’s also a pair of $30 jeans from Madewell that’s miraculously still available in every size, a lightweight backpack for your next weekend camping trip — and I even spotted Smeg’s entire line of retro-inspired teakettles, toasters, and coffee makers all on sale at SSENSE. (As always, make sure to sign up for our email newsletter for even more sales coverage.)

This hair-straightening-focused dryer and styler is just as effective as Revlon’s viral volumizing dryer brush but better for those who don’t need a ton of volume.

Anker’s USB-C Nano Pro has 20W of charging power, so you can boost your iPhone to 50 percent in under half an hour (not to mention your AirPods and Apple Watch).

This wheeled organizer is six inches wide, making it perfect for sharing fridge space with roommates.

$19

Only until tomorrow, everything from the Body Shop is 30 percent off at Ulta (though Amazon is price-matching a few items). I’ve already picked up this satsuma-scented body butter, which I just so happened to use all through middle school — it smells delicious and is just as silky smooth as I remember.

Casper Weighted Blanket
From $152

Amazon is pricing-matching some items from Casper’s bedding sale, too. The brand’s weighted blanket — a favorite of ours for kids and adults alike — is currently available in 10-, 15-, and 20-pound weights. (For maximum comfort, experts advise choosing a blanket that’s roughly 20 percent of your own body weight.)

This silk pillowcase and sleep mask set, made from 100 percent mulberry silk, would also make an excellent Valentine’s Day gift.

Quickly heat up water for tea (or ramen) with this retro-looking electric kettle from Smeg. The brand’s entire line of kitchen appliances is on sale at SSENSE in colorways including black (shown), white, mint green, pale blue, and millennial pink.

Over at Nordstrom, I spotted some pint-size North Face outerwear on sale. Like this sweet classic pink hoodie …

… or, for even smaller ones, this baby bear full zip (complete with ears) to pop on your newborn for an immediate photo shoot.

And before we leave Nordstrom, here’s a dusty blue throw that’s perfect for a rainy-afternoon movie marathon, now just $16.

Our favorite work bag is up to 30 percent off at Zappos today. Strategist editors, contributors, and readers alike love that Madewell’s classic transport tote is spacious enough to fit all day-to-day necessities without ever being too bulky.

At Madewell itself, sale items are an extra 30 percent off with the code SALEONSALE, so you can pick up this chore coat — with huge pockets for hats and gloves — for just $37.

It’s shocking to see a pair of Madewell jeans on sale for $30 in every size, so don’t dillydally if you’ve been looking to finally find the perfect straight-fit pair.

Baggu’s much-anticipated warehouse sale started today and will last through January 24. We love so many pieces from the brand’s collaboration with artist Jessica Williams, and luckily all of those products are included in said sale.

I have many Baggu items, but this puffy jacket for AirPods is by far my favorite purchase. With it I can easily find my earbuds in the abyss that is my (also Baggu) crescent bag, but there’s a loop on the side if you wish to attach it to your keychain.

$40 for 2

A gentle reminder to get your daily serving of fruits (and veggies).

If you want to just dip your toe into the Y2K nostalgia pool instead of fully entering (or reentering) your Juicy Couture tracksuit era, this velour memo board is 40 percent off. A blinged-out laptop case to match is also on sale.

U.K.-based Piglet in Bed is offering up to 50 percent off through the end of the month. The brand makes some of our favorite linen bedding, but we’re also enamored by its luxe pajama sets.

Lightweight but durable, this ingeniously designed pack can fit inside a bigger one for day hikes while traveling or base-camping — or simply function as your everyday office carry.

Depending on where you’re reading this, these might not be totally weather-appropriate right now — but think how much your spring and summer self will appreciate these yeehaw-adjacent suede clogs.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
