Apparently Tom Brady’s got jokes, and he’d like us to hear them. The freshly retired quarterback is reportedly mulling a few different ways to woo his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen. According to Radar Online, among the possibilities could be a career as a stand-up comedian, which actually does make me laugh.

Although Brady has been known to tell a good joke from time to time and can supposedly do a hilarious impression of Rob Gronkowski, according to a source who claims to have heard Brady’s comedy, he just can’t cut it as a comic. “Tom was a terrific quarterback, but he needs to toss this idea before it’s too late,” the source told Radar.

Following his recent retirement announcement, Brady pushed back the start of his ten-year, $375 million analyst deal at Fox Sports to 2024 to catch up “on other parts of my life that need some time and energy,” he said in an interview. Meanwhile, Bundchen has been busy gracing the cover of Italian Vogue, horseback riding, and hanging out with her jujitsu instructor.

Fortunately for everyone, Brady’s friends are reportedly trying to discourage him from going down the comedy path. Maybe they can also get a handle on his Instagram before he posts more awkward divorced-dad thirst traps.
