Nearly 70 years after his mother Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation, King Charles III is being crowned the official king of England. His coronation is taking place on May 6, alongside his wife, Lady Camilla, who will be crowned as queen. Over 2,000 people are suspected to be in attendance, and that means there’ll be lots of great outfits. Since the times have changed quite a bit since the last coronation in 1953, we’re all in for a lot of surprises and great fashion moments.
As far as who will be in attendance, think all of the immediate British royal family (even Prince Harry), lots of foreign royal families and heads of states (Joe Biden won’t be there, but First Lady Jill Biden will), British members of Parliament, nobility, and even a few celebrities (like Lionel Richie, who is performing).
As the event goes on, we’ll be here, updating you live on everyone who is there and what they’re wearing.
