Awards season is here and shows no sign of slowing down. After a star-studded (and smooch-filled) Golden Globes on Sunday, the celebrities of the season all gathered once again on Tuesday for the annual Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Governors Awards: a non-televised, more casual night during which honorary Oscars are handed out. Sounds like my kind of night. Honorees this year included Mel Brooks and Angela Bassett, though everyone from Greta Lee to Martin Scorsese to Olivia Rodrigo walked the carpet. After two wins on Sunday (for the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy and for being one of the best-dressed attendees) Ayo Edebiri showed off another strapless gown, this time opting for cream instead of red. Temporary resident of Barbie Land America Ferrera played with suiting instead of dressing in pink. Oh, and so many people wore sparkles, including Emma Stone, Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria, Emerald Fennell, Danielle Brooks, Claire Foy, Florence Pugh, and Bassett. For all the looks, see below.
