Van Cleef & Arpels jewelers transformed the Hammerstein Ballroom into a “Parisian nightclub” at their Fashion Week kickoff party, “Une Journee A Paris,” last night. A pair of French poodles — one dyed fuchsia, the other attempting to drag its butt across the glossy black stage — nearly stole the show, but fascinated as we are by shiny objects, it was the attendees’ bling that drew our attention in the end.
